Site is in Chattanooga near Hwy 153 / Amnicola Hwy intersection.
Operator will be operating a John Deere 650G cab dozer; this is not a training position. You must be able to independently read civil plans, execute precise grading, and understand site drainage mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Cleanup: Perform general site cleanup and clearing as required.
Grading: Bring designated portions of the 5-acre site to near-final grade, preparing it for the final topsoil phase.
Drainage Execution: Grade the site to ensure proper water flow and drainage, directing all runoff strictly toward the established sediment pond.
Plan Reading & Berm Construction: Accurately read and interpret site plans to build and grade the elevations around the sediment pond berm to precise engineering standards.
Requirements:
Extensive experience operating bulldozers (experience with a John Deere 650G is highly preferred).
Proven ability to read, interpret, and execute civil engineering and grading plans.
Strong understanding of site water management, sediment control, and precision grading.
Reliable, focused, and safety-oriented.
Paid as Contractor - Hourly Based on Experience - Weekends and Some After Hours may be an option.
