Low cost annuals and easy to maintain. Hydraulic gear has the best emergency down system of any aircraft: simply pull a switch. No cranking 57 turns, no pumping, no worry! This is truly one of the best values in aviation. Don't waste money on that overpriced plastic airplane just because it has a parachute that costs big $$ to repack every 10 years. This one has something that will never have: A SECOND ENGINE that will keep you in the air and give you peace of mind, an amazing CLIMB RATE, more SPEED, more POWER with reliable TURBO CHARGERS to take you up where the air is pure and cool, an amazing SOUND, the security and safety of SIMPLICITY in operation, the no-worry no hassle with servos failing causing flaps not to come down because this one has MANUAL FLAPS with the pull of the bar, and an amazing coolness factor that is hard to find.
Then stop looking at the Cirrus and save yourself half-of the purchase price of one of the lowest priced. This airplane is proven. Composite construction is not. Composite, as used on the SR20 and SR22, as you will find if you ever have the misfortune to try to push one into a tight T-hangar by yourself, is a HEAVY. With the slightest of incline, or tracks of the hangar doors, YOU CAN'T DO IT. Not unless you're Arnold or Paul E. Lee or a monster man - or woman. Seriously, that's another drawback to the Cirrus line of aircraft. The Chinese didn't think about that when they purchased Cirrus company. What if special monitoring devices are being installed in all of them and with the push of a button - 'you no start.' AD compliance, SB compliance, and did you pay your bill with credit card? No sir, no ma'am. Run while you still can.

Airplane has about 6000TT with 1700 on LH and about 900 on RH. Propellers overhauled at Santa Monica propeller. The engines are 1800 TBO. The left engine, while higher time than the right, performs amazingly and burns almost no oil, (All of them should use at least some in normal operation) and there is no need to waste money on an overhaul in the near future. Most of these go well beyond TBO, and you will seem them advertised ASKING MORE MONEY with engines at 2000 hours. Expect at least that, which is about 275 hours of 'free' flying time. That's a lot because most private owners don't fly that often. Do the math. The airplane is still an absolute bargain.
