looking for a ride to the AT in/ around Great Smoky Mountains

I am an enthusiastic hiker from the West coast wanting to hike a section of the AT for a week- I'd love to do the 70 miles through the great Smoky Mountains. Trouble is I do not have a vehicle. can anyone help me out? I can get to Chattanooga and am willing to throw down for gas. I'll be leaving May 22 or 23.
