Two North Georgians looking to start up a bluegrass group. We have the guitar and mandolin taken care of. We are looking for banjo, fiddle, and maybe an upright bass or a dobro player. Hi guys and gals. I am a singer/songwriter/ studio engineer that would like to form a rockin' original country band. I am looking for others who would enjoy this as well. I play guitar and sing and am looking for other singer songwriters and musicians. I want this to be a fun project first and most importantly. I am however pretty serious about music. I am the owner of Three Dogs Recording Studio, www.threedogsstudio.org . I am influenced by many styles of music and artists such as John Cougar, Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney as well as 80's rock, classical, blues, nothing is off limits........please, no close minded individuals.......there is way too much great music in the world and it can't all be in the same gendre or we become one dimensional. As I said, I own a studio and have rehearsal space. I am open to male or female co-conspirators. I just want to write and play. I would like to work with people who are fun and competent.

I am not sure what the overall goal really is at this point, That is something that should be decided collectively. I do know that I am not looking for egos, there can be enough spot light for everyone. I am specifically hoping to find a guitarist who writes country/rock music as a collaborator. I am very open to what the project can become.

Flirting with the idea of a stoner/doom project with southern rock tendencies and shot up with a dose of Rolling Stones rock n roll attitude.
I play guitar and sing a bit. When it comes to writing, I work best when someone else hands me something they have created and lets me develop it, kinda like a producer type role. Hello, I'm "Ms. Rhonda." I have worked with children for the past 17 years teaching infants- preK. I am a singer/song-writer/worship pastor, so music has always had a huge part of my life. As an early childhood educator, I made sure music played a significant role in my classroom. Last year, I launched a program called "mini music"- a music program intended for children infants- pre-K. It involves singing, playing musical instruments, dancing,creative movement and more. A typical class includes a variety of props including dancing ribbons, scarves, puppets, story books and flannel graph- just to name a few. The goal of the program is to instill a love for a variety of music. This is not a formal music education program, but more an age appropriate musical experience. The children learn rhthym, basic musical concepts and how to identify styles and instruments.

I have space in my schedule to work in a few more preschools. If you or if you know of any daycares/preschools/homeschool groups in the Chattanooga/Ringgold/Dalton area that may be interested, please send them my contact information.

I could post a long ass ad, but that's not going to happen. If you need a drummer who will give you a definitive sound, ask me. I am tired of working with amateurs so you need to be in a professional position. I don't play anyone else's drum kit so don't ask. I'm a professional. That's what I thought. But seriously, I'm a singer/guitarist looking to start a metal band that rocks regardless of style. Industrial, Psychedelic, hip-hop - as long as it sounds good and hits hard - is fair game. If you play bass or guitar, be prepared to tune at least as far down as B and sometimes lower. Drummer must be steady, and most importantly, know how to pound the listener into a groove. Influences include but are definitely not limited to: NIN, Helmet, Carcass, Rage Against the Machine, Big Black, Skinny Puppy, Pink Floyd, Quicksand, Fugazi. Rhonda Frye is a talented singer/song writer from Ringgold, GA . She is a minister of music and associate pastor at Rockpointe Worship Center in Rossville, GA.
