I have a mens road bike that was given to me and is too big so I haven't ridden it. It looks like it needs new brakes and possibly some other small things but can't say for sure. Bike is super lightweight.

Recently gotten into the customization/refurbishing thing a bit, and I'm looking for 20", 24" and 26" curved frame, beach cruiser/balloon tire type of bicycles to "spruce up", and do various projects with.

If you've got an old one of these things taking up space in your basement or garage, I'd love to see it and possibly take it off your hands (if it's the style I'm after, and it's structurally sound). Not looking to spend much - if any - money (let's face it, if it's an old, rusty thing that's been sitting in the corner for 30 years, how much would you expect someone to pay, honestly?).

But I'll take it off your hands/get it out of your way, and maybe do something cool with it (and can send you some photos of the "after" if you'd like...

I'd rather do this - hoping to find some older, neglected bikes - than go and drop $100 at Wal-Mart or Target for "cosmetic surgery candidates". It's nice to start off with something old, rusty or ragged out...they've just got more character.

This bike was bought from Cedar Bluff Cycles in Knoxville, TN on October 11, 2007 and comes with one year of free service there. I still have a duplicate receipt.

Thule Roof Rack 3 Trays + Wheel Forks (Chattanooga) $250

Up for sale is a Thule roof rack. It contains the 4 feet, crossbars (50"), fairing (42"), 2 Thule bike trays in black, 1 Rocky Mounts bike tray in yellow, 2 Thule wheel forks, 1 Rocky Mounts wheel fork in yellow, locks in all 4 feet and locks in each tray. The trays are the "fork-mount" type. The main Thule rack is about 15 years old, while the Rocky Mounts stuff is about 5 years old. It's not the best looking cosmetically, but works great!

I don't know what model cars the feet or clips will work on. It's been on a 1991 Mazda 626 sedan all of these years.

Up for sale is one Yakima complete rack for a volvo 850. Also included is a fairing to stop whistling noises while driving. It would work with other vehicles, but you have to purchase new pieces but this set up comes ready to fit a 850 volvo. The rack load bars do show signs of wear but still have years of use transporting bikes and boats. there are 4 locks included and one broken key. All you have to do is order new keys only acouple bucks. This rack cost $300 new here is a great deal.
